We are raising funds to bring The Expedition Log to life as a high-quality hardcover book that transforms One Minute Mission, our 50-episode video series on science, space and exploration into an interactive reading experience.
Each story combines real missions, discoveries, and human moments of curiosity with reflective prompts and QR links that invite readers to explore further.​​
Over the past two years, we have seen how sharing these stories online can spark curiosity in people of all ages, from classrooms to late-night social media explorers. This book is our way of creating something lasting, something readers can hold, revisit, and pass along to the next curious mind.
To make it happen, we are partnering with Jostens, a U.S.-based printer to produce 500 hardcover copies using offset printing for vivid color and lasting quality. The book will be printed in Clarksville, Tennessee. We are handling editing, design, and production ourselves to ensure that every detail reflects the same care and curiosity that shaped the series. The funds raised will cover printing, shipping, and reward fulfillment.
If we exceed our goal, we will upgrade to premium 100 lb. paper and enhanced cover finishes to make The Expedition Log an even more beautiful keepsake.
We are Ben and Danielle, lifelong science enthusiasts and storytellers based just outside Austin, Texas. Together we have written, filmed, and edited every episode of The One Minute Mission series, building a community of explorers who share our love for discovery.
This project is the next step in that journey, a way to turn curiosity into something tangible and to celebrate the wonder that connects us all.
